Update, Indigogo, COVID Status and New Lost Lands Kickstarter!

Books are being printed! The softcovers have shipped to me as of this morning, and the proof copies of the hardcover (this takes a month or so before they hit the barge) were Fed-X'd to me this morning from Hong Kong. I anticipate delivery of the books to the warehouse in July, then off to all of you!

COVID has us shut in pretty tightly here in WA state, but our warehouse is open and we are getting things done (despite only having me, the wife and our kids to pack). We did get a PP loan and thanks to all of you, we are keeping our artists and writers employed using funds from the loan. Most have you have seen our Indidgogo campaigns including our current one, Island of Sorrow. Without your support, we could never keep paying these folks, so its greatly appreciated. New Kickstarter for the Lost Lands! The Cats's Cradle

A walled town of roughly 4000 citizens, Cat's Cradle is a modular resource that can be used any time you need a town at the intersection of trade routes. In the world of the Lost Lands it is located in the Duchy of Saxe, at the intersection of the Gap Road and the Hyon River. This puts the town conveniently close to the Necromancer Games adventure Trouble at Durbenford. The primary focus of this 3-book set, though, is to fill in the gap when you need a relatively detailed town on short notice.

We’re using the proceeds of a PPA loan to employ our writers and artists on an immediate basis, which lets us keep paying them at normal levels despite a bad market. For this reason, we’re following the unusual procedure of offering a Kickstarter before the work itself is completed. The books will be printed at the Arizona printshop we use for Indiegogo projects rather than in China, which allows us a much faster turnaround to backers. Most of the initial legwork has already been done, and the project should be almost completed by the time the Kickstarter ends, with the exception of layout and some of the art orders. To the extent the Kickstarter generates any profit — which isn’t guaranteed in this market — we will continue turning the profit around to new projects, to generate as steady a stream of work-flow as we can.

No real update except that they have started printing. It's still in Hong Kong, so ETA (mostly US customs time) is uncertain. That being said, it's likely mailing to you in July or early August!

I pray everyone is staying home and is safe. We can all get through this together if we just stay apart. now the good news.

Layout is done, and is going through final proofing! then off to the printer (likely in a week or so).

Meanwhile, since none of us can actually visit a real tavern, at least your player characters can! Please check out our indigogo (we are making smaller, less expensive books for a while so you all can recover financially). Its only $6 in PDF and $17 for a softcover. Its already funded, and the book is laid out and ready to go to press!

In other news, we have been quarantined at the warehouse for two weks, so we are one of the few companies that can actually fulfill books right now. In light of this, we are making everyone a distributor for the near term. 50% off everything in our store (even new releases).
